Accessibility
Notary-2-U wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard generally used for website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we do
- Text, buttons and links have enough color contrast in both light and dark mode.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Forms, including the booking request, have clear labels and error messages.
- Images have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Moving decorations can be paused, and stay still when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small phone screens.
- The service-area map and the “Am I ready?” ID check work by keyboard, and announce their results to screen readers.
At your appointment
Laura comes to you, at home, in a hospital or a care facility. If you need more time, large print, a signer who cannot write a full signature (signature by mark), or other accommodations, tell us when you book and we will plan for it.
